hi there guys, no offense meant on nitro lovers, the sound of the engine revving, and the smoke really adds up to the excitement. and nitro powered cars really are powerfull. however, if i may share my knowledge in offroad since i've been an offroader for quite some years... in my experience, electric cars can run at par or even do better lap times than their nitro counterparts. i've experienced racing my electric losi stadium truck with the associated gt and i was able to get better lap times. you can even look at the stats of the results of the races in qcrccc and you'll notice that the lap time of electric trucks and buggies are at par or even faster than nitro. i myself preferred electric than nitro when i was racing because of ease of operation and trouble shooting. one drawback though in electric is that the initial cost because you have to have atleast 3 packs to enjoy more run time. a battery pack can last only around 8-10minutes maximum rantime then it needs to be re-charged for about 30 minutes. a battery pack would cost you atleast a conservative Php2,500.00 per pack, depending on the battery capacity you choose but it can be used for the next 200 chargings without cost (unlike fuel which is consumed) and you'll enjoy its benefits on the latter part. Plus, you have to have a good charger to support your battery needs. Nitro on the otherhand needs only fuel to run. a gallon of nitro would only cost Php1,200.00 and it's good for many runs... just make sure your receiver pack is always charged or you might end-up with a runaway rc. also, you don't need to wait for 30 minutes to recharge for electric powered cars. just add fuel and you're ready to go. of course, there's the maintenance of the engine for nitro powered cars, not to mention constant tuning of engine, and the cost of fuel... etc. in electric, as long as your motor is ok, then your good to go. it's a different story for nitros since in engine needs constant tuning, and not to mention the constant cleaning of fuel mess in your cars. the choice is really up to you, both have advantages and disadvantages but if you're to ask me for the performance of both, i'd say they're even. hope this helps.

You've to wait awhile for a response as Technician is currently in China. Not sure if they deliver, but I don't think they've a racetrack in Baguio (I could be wrong).
